BPA have completed 27 overcladding and window replacement projects for Colleges and Universities with a further 30 sketch designs and feasibility studies. The objective is to provide older buildings with the appearance and performance of new ones, with work carried out while the buildings remain occupied and fully operational.

The tower fire in London rightly caused huge consternation. Unfortunately aluminium cladding became a generic term in media reporting. Current testing and inspection is demonstrating the significant difference between the well engineered non combustible systems with proper fire breaks used by specialised and experienced installers and the suspect ones. Neither BPA nor the specialists with whom we work have ever specified ACM materials.
