William Simpson's has established a reputation as a centre of excellence in caring for men with Alcohol Related Brain Damage.  The new build care home for 56 residents was undertaken in conjunction with Stewart Fowler, Architect. Work on site was completed by main contractor Seddon Construction Ltd in June 2012. 

The building sits within the grounds of the existing B listed William Simpson Home, we used local materials on the exterior of the buidling to compliment the surroundings. Within the building are 8 flats with 8 bedrooms. Key to the design was the wide connecting 'street' which links the individual flats. Each flat was designed to be easily distinguished, achieved through the careful choice of colours and fittings to give a different identity despite the identical plan form.
