Alpha House, Coventry

Alpha House in Coventry is a seventeen storey residential tower block completed as a rare example of 'lift block' construction in 1963. Its appearance had been altered considerably by subsequent cladding modifications. BPA found references to its original striking black, grey and white colour scheme in RIBA archives and sought to respect it. This was strongly supported by Planners.
