Completed in summer 2016 the interior design for this new build 56 bed Welsh care home is one of the most detailed interior design commissions that BPA have undertaken. We created distinct themes for each area of the home, drawing from our research in the local area and culture. These themes are reflected through the fabrics, colours, feature lighting, furniture, objects and artwork to help residents identify and wayfind more easily. The bespoke signage and way finding strategy further emphasises this. We have created a strong distinction between domestic spaces and public spaces to help residents feel more comfortable in their surroundings.
